  i'm 16, and recently confessed to my mother my disbelief in her religion (jehovah's witnesses, obviously so).

  Hey I also sent you a message but in case you don't get it,

  I told my parents when I was 15 that I didn't want to be a JW anymore, my dad beat the crap out of me MANY times, like you I also felt like I might as well end it all, but, what my parents did was take everything away from me, no lunch money, no more clothes, no personal items ( hairspray, toothpaste, etc.) My dad said roof over my head, and dinner thats it. So what did I do, well I got a job, worked nights after school, weekends and summer time. Anything to get paid, Anyway I ended up being able to leave my house at 17 I almost joined the Navy but I got my own apartment, and life turned out really good for me. There are many of us here that have gone through what you are going through.

  PS I am sorry your in homeschool, I hate that about JW I fought my parents not to do that to me, I am so glad I won, but I also met a bunch of new friends working my side jobs, I wish you the best of luck and we are all here for you if you need a bunch of crazy ass friends :-)

  Why is it so hard?

  Why does the unneeded loss of a child or other loved one cause such deep jealousy to cult member? Because they know that the scriptures don’t say to do that. And that the true paradise on earth is loving your family and not to those who remain loyal to the org.

  They look forward to talking bad about them with their mates, children, parents, siblings and grandchildren. How it’s a pain in the ass to think that their loved ones who quit the cult will embarrass them in front of other cult members. Even with regard to their present happy life out of the org, Cultmembers appreciate that the org laws, and ridiculous principals are for the orgs benefit. Cultmembers are therefore heartbroken to see their loved one happy and free in such a way to ensure a happy harvest

  mrs ozzie and i visited the home of her swim coach on sunday.

  he lives nearby a large kingdom hall which accommodates several large city congregations, yet he says that he's never been visited by the dubs.

  I've lived in my new house for little more than a year, I get more real estate agents than anything, and never been visited by JW's I think something is wrong with them. I wrote on another thread that a while back I answered the door with my shotgun in hand because it looked like JW but turned out to be Real Estate agent handing me one of those notepads they give you, I think I freaked her out. I took out my gun cleaning kit just in case she called the police.

  Actually I spent a month in Florida, I felt good inside doing the work, but it was so hot, I am proud of what I did, and might do it again someday if I am able to. I think it was more hard on my wife, she stayed behind but she knew what I was doing was good work, but she was worried about me, but she was ok and just stayed with her family. I went through 2 hurricanes while there, it was surreal but in the end all the moldy buildings got me really sick, so I had to come home, took me about 2 months to recover,

  no I was not in the org, been out since I was 15.

  a friend of mine is married to a jw.

  not by choice, but her husband became jw just a couple years ago.

  however, he has been quite mean to her since he became jw and bullies her around.

  maybe the special talk was about WWIII, I just spoke to my JW mom and she said that its going to start this year and if I heard about it, I figured that she was just scanning the News again, but this time it was different, I think the JW's got her worried.
